Dr. Katie McKown

Doctor Katie McKown is a native of West Virginia. One night she had a horrible car accident that changed her life. Chiropractic care was part of her recovery. She knew exactly what she wanted to do. She attended the University of Charleston earning an undergraduate degree in biology. Upon graduation she attended Palmer College of chiropractic. After graduation in 2006 she went to work in Michigan helping patients. Two years later she moved to Northern Virginia. Not only did she start at a new practice, but she was the team doctor for a military prep football team. She helped the football team have their best record in several years.

Her journey brought her to southwest Virginia where she began working for a clinic in Hillsville. She stayed with that company for 14 years, gaining experience and building relationships. Dr Katie saw that something was missing and decided to be the solution. She is now an independent doctor with a burning desire to help the community. Her proven adjustment skills along with advanced technology will allow her to serve the Twin County community better.
